About Australian Fire Control

Fire, smoke, security, and architectural systems Australia.

Australian Fire Control's experience dates back to 1979 and ensures the necessary expertise to meet the demands of this high-performance industry. This expertise is being applied throughout Australia, where AFC is developing a reputation as the ‘go to’ company amongst Builders, Engineers, Designers, and Architects for major projects within the general construction, mining, and oil & gas industries.

AFC’s products are either supplied by world-class manufacturers or manufactured under licence by AFC. All products are supported by full-scale testing and assessments conducted globally and valid locally. In-house technical capacity enables AFC to work with other industry professionals in providing solutions to the many complex scenarios that arise from the application of the prescriptive BCA/NCC.

You could say we go where others fear to tread and our clients are very appreciative of this work ethic. Supporting this technical capacity is an infrastructure that has been assembled over many years.

Highly qualified tradesmen with experienced supervisors & estimators mesh seamlessly with thoughtful management and top-level administrative staff to provide a strong and vibrant business.

Our vision

Across the business and the locations in which we operate, AFC demonstrates a high level of commitment to employees who support our belief that ‘our business is our people’. This dedication generates loyalty that is evidenced through the solid growth of AFC, the high calibre of staff and the number of long serving employees within the organisation.

What makes AFC different is its value system, unique culture, and general commitment to all staff.

As AFC continues to grow and expand, our culture and relationship-based approach to projects remain our point of difference.
By valuing our people, collaborating with our partners, and delivering exceptional projects with sustainable outcomes, our organization continues to be supported by our loyal client base.

AFC was established on a set of values that are still apparent throughout the business today.

These values are the essence of the AFC and will continue to be the foundation of the company’s future success.

  • Family - We are proud of our family company heritage. This heritage means we value each individual, we respect and encourage diversity and we create and promote a sense of belonging.

  • Empowering - We empower our people to develop the self-belief that will enable them to realize their potential. The resulting flexibility, initiative and responsiveness sustain our business growth and success.

  • Determined - We persist despite the obstacles. We celebrate effort as well as achievement and we are tenacious in our pursuit of the objective.

  • Collaborative - We work as a team in the belief that collaborative achievement results in creative relationships of long-term mutual benefit. Our no-blame culture focuses on finding what works best, sharing success, and enjoying the experience.

  • Striving to do better - We aspire to be the best at what we do through fresh thinking, hard work, continual learning, and a shared sense of purpose. We take great pride in our achievements.

Zero Harm

In 2012, AFC established a goal of Zero Harm to promote continual improvement to health, safety, and environmental management.
Our Zero Harm goal sees us strive towards ensuring our people, the environment, and the communities in which we operate are not harmed during our works.

Our commitment to the health and safety of our people remains unwavering and we will continue to ensure the systems we have in place are assisting us to strive towards our Zero Harm goal.
